Over 3000 Biker fine for Violations on Eid in Lahore


 Lahore Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Montazer Mehdi has said that a comprehensive traffic plan has been prepared for cattle markets, shopping malls, bazaars, bazaars, historical and public places and parks during Eid-ul-Adha holidays. The CTO Lahore said that 13 cases of one wheeling and racing were registered in different police stations of the city while 310 motorcycles were seized for dangerous driving. The CTO said more than 3,000 underage drivers, 339 colorful vehicles and 1,276 vehicles were fined for violating one-way traffic rules.

Montazer Mehdi said that for the convenience of the citizens, duty has been maintained at all recreational and historical places of the city including mosques, open gatherings, Eid venues. He said that additional personnel have been deployed at various parks including Iqbal Park, Jallu Park, Model Town Park and major cemeteries of the city. He said that 11 DSPs, 133 inspectors and 2400 personnel performed security duties on the occasion of Eid. Montazer Mehdi said that even on the occasion of Eid-ul-Adha, the traffic wardens continued to perform their duties as usual.
